Sunday School

Meets at 10:00 am weekly with classes from nursery to Senior Adults and every age group in between.Our curriculum is Answers in Genesis which is an apologetics ministry dedicated to helping Christians defend their faith and proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ effectively.

TeamKid (Wednesday Night Children) 

Meets every Wednesday at 6:30, TeamKID is designed for Kids in Discipleship! It features Bible memory games and application of Bible truths, engaging missions’ videos and activities, and fun activity-based learning all while helping your kids grow to be more like Jesus.

Harmony Baptist Youth

The Student Ministry at Harmony Baptist Church exists to lead students in 7th through 12th grade into a deeper knowledge of God, growing in their love for God, their fellow believers, and their mission fields. Please see the 'Youth Ministry' card for more information.

Discipleship Groups

Here at Harmony we believe discipleship is the key element to growing closer to Christ and developing Unity within the body. 'Doing life together' is vital for the Christian and modeled all throughout scripture, specifically with Jesus and his disciples We have several discipleship groups that meet throughout the week. Our men's groups meet on Thursday at 6:30 at two different houses. Our two women groups meet on Tuesdays at two different locations. Our young adults meet on Tuesday nights at 6:30 and our Senior adults meet every other Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in the fellowship hall. If you would like to get plugged in, please contact a member of our staff. 

Vacation Bible School 

Each summer we have a week-long vacation bible school. There is a different theme each year. We use 'Answers in Genesis' curriculum. We are blessed with wonderful teachers who not only share the word of God to students all week, but decorate their rooms with awesome, immersive decorations to really get in the spirit of the theme. Our classes range from nursery all the way to youth. 

Senior Adults

 Whether taking a trip or in a Bible Study, our Senior Adults always have a great time in Christ. They have visited anywhere from the Ark and Creation Museum in Kentucky to most recently, they went to the Fall Jubilee in Gatlinburg, TN and Passion Play in Arkansas.  The senior Adults also meet every other Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in the fellowship hall for a discipleship group.

Women’s Ministry 

Harmony Baptist is blessed with a wonderful women’s ministry. They have monthly events that all revolve around God’s word and biblical fellowship amongst sisters in Christ. They also attend a yearly conference to strengthen and equip the women further. The two women’s  Discipleship Group meets every Monday or Tuesday at 6:30 pm.

Men’s Ministry 

The men’s ministry has monthly breakfast and bible studies each month along with workdays and other events as well. We encourage you to join the men of the church as we grow together! Their two separate Discipleship Group meets every Thursday at 6:30 pm at two different locations. They are currently using the "Man Church" curriculum led by Rick Burgess.

Young Adults 

Our Young Adults group provides a ministry for those out of high school and into their young adult age. There is a Sunday School class for this group every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. and different events throughout the year. Their Discipleship Group meets every Tuesday at 6:30 pm. 

Toddlers & Children 

Each Sunday we have several volunteers who take care of our little ones during the worship service. 

Nursery

We have a nice, modern nursery available during all our services.

Van Ministry 

We run our van for every service needed. If you are interested in this service, please call us at 256-974-7712 and schedule a pickup.
