Lead Pastor
Bro. Darryl McHan has been Lead Pastor at Harmony Baptist since April of 2021. He has served in the Ministry for 20+ years. Pictured with him is his wife Jamie, Son Jaxson, Daughter Brooke, and Son Cody. Darryl and his family have a passion and zeal for God's word that is evident in their speech and actions. Bro. Darryl has a Bible Degree and is currently pursuing a master’s in theological studies from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. We are blessed to have Bro. Darryl as our Pastor here at HBC!

Brett Vance
Youth/Associate Pastor
Brett has been happily married to Whitney Vance since 2019. They welcomed their first Child in December of 2022, Collins Joy Vance. Whitney is an Elementary teacher at East Lawrence. They both received bachelor’s degrees in education from Athens State University. Before surrendering to the ministry, Brett spent 3 years in education at Moulton Middle School and East Lawrence High School. From 2017 to 2021, he also served as Assistant Student Pastor here at Harmony. During December of 2021 he surrendered to the Ministry and was ready to go where God called. In February of 2022 he began serving as full time Youth/Associate Pastor here at HBC. Brett is also pursuing a master’s in theological studies from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He loves serving the wonderful students here at HBC and our community!

Drew Whitlow
Music Minister
Drew has served as Worship Pastor at Harmony Baptist Church since February of 2011.He has also served as youth pastor from 2016 to 2021. He was married to his wife Kristen Whitlow in June 2016. Kristen is a speech pathologist for Moulton Middle School. Together they have a son, Alex, who was born in February 2021. Drew graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and is currently pursuing a master’s degree from Louisiana State University. He currently serves as the Loan Review Manager at Progress Bank in Decatur, AL. Drews heart for genuine worship and love for the church is evident in his unwavering service to the congregation and God above all else.

Dr. Tommy Whitlow
Senior Adults Pastor
Tommy has been married to a godly wife and best friend, Cherrie Gonzales Whitlow for over 40 years. They have two children with their families - daughter, Emily Wadkins, her husband, Michael and granddaughter, Emma and son, Drew Whitlow, his wife Kristen and grandson, Alex. Tommy has been privileged to serve the Lord for over 45 years in the ministry. He considers it an awesome experience serving at Harmony, especially on staff with his son! God has given Tommy a heart for people and his prayer is that he would constantly love my wife, family, and others as Jesus does!

Chad Fleming
Education Director (Volunteer)
Chad has been a faithful member and servant of Harmony Baptist Church for over 20 years along with his wife Amy, who also leads our women's ministry here at HBC. Together, they have a son, Owen, and daughter, Karlie. They also have a grandson, Beckett. Chad oversees Sunday school and Wednesday night Children's curriculum here at HBC as well as serving as an ordained Deacon. He also works as a Quality Lab Manager at Toray and earned a bachelor’s degree From Auburn University. He and his family's heart for the Lord and our Church is evident in their actions and dedication.
